For the institute-industry interface, Training and Placement Cell is functional in the Institute for assisting the students for on-the-job training after second semester and the final placements. To inculcate the professional and corporate attitude amongst the students, the cell will regularly invite experts from the industry to acquaint the students with the current practices and latest trends. Towards the overall development of the students, the cell will engage itself in the following activities:
- Conduct familiarization visits to the companies.
- Establish industrial linkages.
- Conduct awareness programs for the students in the form of workshops, seminars and conferences to suit corporate requirements.
- Conduct value added programs like personality development and soft skill workshops to enhance the communication skills, leadership abilities, teamwork through group discussions, mock interviews, quizzes etc.
